Apart from the slim and lightweight design, the phone has a glass back and a cool-looking triple camera island on the back. The front is almost all screen except for the tiny bezels and that punch hole camera cutout.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has stereo speakers with an amplified earpiece speaker. The other speaker is on the bottom, next to the USB-C port. The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has the volume and power buttons on the right side. This makes it easy to access them.

The 10-bit AMOLED panel is amazing as it supports up to 1 billion colors. This makes the display vibrant and colorful. The display is also sharp thanks to the 1080p resolution with over 402 Pixels per Inch (PPI). The phone has a typical brightness level of 500 nits and a peak brightness of 800 nits which makes it ideal for any condition, indoors or outdoors.
The 90 Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate are not the best in class but rather a cost-saving measure. This is one area where Xiaomi should have done better as almost all phones in this price category have at least a 120 Hz refresh rate, which looks better and feels more responsive.
Overall, there is not much to dislike and a lot to like about the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G's display. It looks awesome, has small bezels, good brightness, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The only downside is its 90Hz refresh rate, which is good but not on par with the competition.

Finally, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G launched with a perfect mix of price, performance, and features. The Snapdragon 778G is powerful yet power efficient. It is one of the best chips from 2021. The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G can handle anything, even high-end games like Genshin Impact with ease.
Xiaomi didn't skimp on RAM or storage either, you get 6/8 GBs of superfast LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GBs of UFS 2.2 storage. The processor, RAM, storage, and display come together to offer an excellent experience in terms of performance. Everything feels fluid and responsive.

The AI shooting mode enabled can assure a great photography experience. While the phone’s exposure and color science want to be loyal to the real-life scenes captured, the AI enhancement of this phone helps achieve interesting tweaks to the pictures.

The phone has a 4250 mAh cell that supports 33W fast charging. 4250 mAh sounds less nowadays, but couple that with an efficient 778G processor and Xiaomi's battery management software, the 11 Lite NE 5G offers good battery life that can comfortably last for a day.
With most Xiaomi phones featuring 67W and 120W charging technology nowadays, 33W sounds mediocre, but for safety reasons, this was the max Xiaomi was able to provide in a device so thin. And since the battery is comparatively smaller, it doesn't take too long to charge the phone.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G bests smartphones like the Samsung A33 and A53 in the battery department even though they cost more. The 11 Lite NE 5G offers better charging speeds and a charger in the box while Samsung doesn't. This is a huge factor for mid-range phones where cost is everything.
Overall, while not impressed, I'm certainly happy with the battery of the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G. The battery life is good, and the charging speeds are adequate.
