More affordable than most other smart TVs in its class, but with all of the features and functions you’d expect from even some more expensive devices, the Mi TV Q1 punches way above its pay grade.

    Top-notch image quality

    Fantastic overall value

    A sleek, bezel-free design

    Premium build quality
Not great for 120Hz 4K gaming

    Performance could be better optimized

Key Features

  • The bezel-free QLED 4K 120Hz MEMC Display looks fantastic
  • Android TV 10 and all its goodies
  • Voice Assistant and Smart Home capabilities work seamlessly
  • Premium built-in sound system sounds great even without an expensive soundbar

Mi TV Q1 75” Smart TV Review

With its reasonable price and superb QLED display, the Mi TV Q1 75” is one of the easiest smart TVs to recommend in 2023. Xiaomi

To keep costs low, Xiaomi does do away with some more premium features and unessential design considerations, but the Mi TV Q1 75” Smart TV is a premium device through and through - just with a budget-friendlier price tag. Image and video quality are vibrant, color-accurate, and as crisp as all get out with the 4K QLED panel operating at 120Hz with all the high-end goodies like Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and MEMC support, while the bezel-free design lets you enjoy the high-tech display panel with no obstructions.

On the software side, the Mi TV Q1 75” runs Android 10 for a fully-functional Smart TV experience. Plus, Xiaomi’s even thrown in their own PatchWall software which gives you access to one of the biggest global content services available. The Mi TV Q1 comes with a lot of smart features, including easy screen mirroring for all your devices, as well as Smart Home integration and built-in Google Assistant support.

We can’t stress this enough - the Mi TV Q1 75” Smart TV integrates seamlessly with all of your smart home devices, and with the help of Google Assistant, you can use your voice to do everything from adjusting temperature and ambient lighting, controlling your smart sockets, robot vacuums, and more. It’s not just a smart TV, it’s become a command center for your smart, connected home.

In terms of sound quality, the Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 75” Smart TV comes with best-in-class audio experiences thanks to the premium speaker system and Dolby-powered audio drivers. Unlike other Smart TVs that rely on an expensive soundbar to get the best cinematic audio experience, the Mi TV Q1 offers similar quality right out of the box.

That said, while the Mi TV Q1 is a great all-around smart TV, it lacks the kind of high-powered hardware you would need for 120Hz 4K gaming, so take note. 4K gaming at Full HD is no problem at all, but if you’re hoping to play the latest titles at 120Hz refresh rate in 4K resolution, you might have to look elsewhere, likely in higher price brackets.

How to choose the best Xiaomi TV?

Since there are many choices to choose from, selecting the best Xiaomi TV can be a bit hard. However, to make things easier, e will explain how to choose a Xiaomi TV.

Display type - Xiaomi TVs come in LED (LCD with LED Backlight), OLED (self-illuminating pixels), and QLED (LCD with Quantum Dot layer).

Out of these, the best when it comes to picture quality is the OLED TVs. They have excellent contrast, and the picture just pops.

QLED offers a middle ground and can even rival OLED in most cases.

And finally, LED TVs are easily available and offer good quality for the price, but nothing amazing.

However, to receive quality, you need to pay more. And that is the case here, LED TVs are the cheapest while QLED offers a good balance of price and performance while OLED TVs can cost a fortune.

Display Size - Display size and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to TVs. If you are a budget shopper, then you might be stuck to 1080p resolution, and in that case, don't buy a TV larger than 43inches. If you can extend the budget, then you can have 4K TVs that range from 43” to 75”. However, the sweet spot for 4K TVs is 55 inches. 65inch 4K TVs are good but they can be quite a bit more expensive than 55inch TVs. Xiaomi has a few 8K TVs and they are in the range of 75+ inches.

Features - With TVs costing anywhere from 200 dollars to 1000s of dollars, the feature set can drastically change as you go over the 1000-dollar mark. However, some cool features to look at are high refresh rate support, HDR support, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Vision support. Sound quality should also be taken into consideration if you are not using an external audio setup.

Software - The newer the better. Unlike phones, TVs don't get updated to new versions of software. This means you are most likely stuck with what you get out of the box. With Google TV being much better than Android TV OS, try to snag one if you can. If not check if the TV runs the latest version of Android TV. This will give better app support and better optimization for software and security.

Price - And finally price. The cheaper the better right? Not so easy, like most things, the more you pay the more you get. And with TVs, you get bigger screens, better picture quality, more features, etc. However, I would argue that for most people spending over 1000 dollars would be useless. In fact, even a 4K 55-inch LED TV from Xiaomi will make most people happy.

We have taken all these into consideration when coming up with our list of the best Xiaomi TVs.

Still Looking to buy which Xiaomi TV? Take home

With each of the above-listed Xiaomi TVs packed with the best value features that are hard to expect in the budget TV segment, you are never in for a disappointment when you choose any one of the models discussed. Nevertheless, the choice of the best Xiaomi TV to meet your expectations will depend on your budget, installation setting, and your preferences.
